Converting From Jukeboxes Using 2.6-Gbyte Drives to Jukeboxes

Using 5.2-GByte Drives

1. Disconnect all drive cables for the drive enclosures you are converting (Figure

3-3 uses drives at position #1 as an example).

2. Remove the T-20 screws from each side of the drive enclosure. Remove the

drive enclosure from the chassis (see #5 on Figure 3-3).

3. Remove the four T-10 screws holding the top and bottom access plates on the

drive enclosure (see #1 and #2 in Figure 3-4). Remove the plates.

4. Remove the four T-10 screws that hold the drives in the drive enclosure and

slide the drive forward a small amount to give you room to remove the cables.

(#3 screws on Figure 3-4 hold the upper drive, #4 screws hold the lower drive.)
