No issues were discovered when testing client printer driver mapping with XenApp using these HP printers and drivers.

Dynamic printer mapping

Description

When using XenApp clients, users can dynamically map client printer objects to the remote session in the server.

Test methodology

The HP printers listed in Table 17 were attached to the client system using a parallel cable, USB cable, or TCP/IP port. The

printer was installed on the client system; drivers were downloaded from the HP Driver Support website and installed on the

XenApp server.

The client connected to a session on the XenApp server. The user removed the printer object from the client machine by

disconnecting the printer from the machine or removing the device from the client’s control panel. The user then

reconnected the same printer device and tried to print to this device. The client printer was able to print successfully.
