Removal and Replacement Procedures

Maintenance and Service Guide 5–45

5. Remove the grounding tape 1 that grounds the RJ-11 and

RJ-45 connectors to the base enclosure.

6. Lift the left side of the system board 2 until the battery

connector 3 clears the base enclosure.

7. Slide the system board away from the base enclosure at an

angle 4.

Removing the System Board

Reverse the above procedure to install the system board.
