Unpacking

Receiving the hp rp8400 Server Cabinet

Step 3. Remove the corrugated wrap from the pallet.

Step 4. Remove the packing materials.

CAUTION The plastic wrapping material should be cut off rather than pulled off. Pulling the

plastic covering off represents an ESD hazard.

Step 5. Remove four bolts holding down the ramps and remove the ramps.

NOTE Figure 3-2 shows one ramp attached to the pallet on either side of the cabinet with

each ramp secured to the pallet using two bolts. There is another configuration

where the ramps are secured together on one side of the cabinet with one bolt.
