If a particular Virtual Machine is connected to multiple vSwitches, it appears in multiple vSwitch

list boxes. The number in parentheses following the vSwitch name shows the number of Virtual

Machines connected to that vSwitch.

If a host has a lot of Virtual Machines connected to a vSwitch, or a Virtual Machine has a long

name, vertical and horizontal scroll bars allow you to scroll to see all the Virtual Machine

information.

If a group of Virtual Machines are not connected to a vSwitch, the Virtual Machine list header will

be “Not Connected”. Virtual Machines contained in each listbox are sorted alphabetically.

If a virtual machine is connected to the same vSwitch multiple times, then VM names followed by

parentheses will show the total number of vSwitch connections.
