4 Wait until the blue network light on the lid of your HP PSC is lit.

The LED turns solid blue when there is an active network connection. To

turn off the network light, disconnect the cable from the back of the lid.

Note: It might take a few moments for your HP PSC network settings to

become active and available for use.

5 Print a network configuration page.

install your hp psc software on a Windows computer

See connect your hp psc to the network on page 135 prior to installing the

HP software. The following instructions are for Windows computers only.

Note: Installation time can range from 20 minutes to 1 hour depending on

your OS, the amount of available space, and the processor speed.

1 Quit all applications.

2 Insert the HP PSC software installation CD into your computer's CD-ROM

drive.

The Welcome screen appears.

3 Click Next and follow the instructions provided by the Installer to check

and prepare the system, and install drivers, plug-ins, and software.

This will take several minutes.
