To eliminate the need for a protective enclosure, one may achieve Div 2 compliance by

using a suitable barrier(s) as described in Drawing K750525/K750531. To eliminate the

need for a protective enclosure or suitable barrier and still be Div 2 compliant, the conduit

adapter model (suffix C) along with properly rated and sealed conduit should be used.

Only pigtail models with electrical connection suffixes P, N or C are rated as Type

4X/IP56

For all safety locations, proper wiring and installation is critical. Installation must be

performed by licensed installers, under jurisdiction of local authorities. The safety

approvals are voided by modifications or non factory repairs to the HPT 100.
