Solving a Problem

Clearing Paper Jams

When a paper jam occurs, the

and

Resume

lights alternately blink. Fol-

low these instructions to clear a paper

jam:

1.

Turn off the printer.

2.

Gently remove the jammed paper.

If the paper cannot be removed, then

go to step 3.

3.

Open the front cover and gently

remove the jammed paper.

If the paper cannot be removed, then

go to step 4.

4.

Pull out the Out tray until it is fully

extended, then pull out the In tray.
