• If you are performing an unattended installation of HDLM, execute the
installux.sh script or the installhdlm utility as shown below.
When executing the
installux.sh script
# DVD-ROM-mount-point/installux.sh -f /any-directory/
installation-information-settings-file
When executing the
installhdlm utility
# DVD-ROM-mount-point/HDLM_Solaris/hdlmtool/instutil/
installhdlm -f /
any-directory/installation-information-settings-file
If execution of the utility is completed without problems, the KAPL09211-I
message is output.
After confirming that the KAPL09211-I message has been output, execute the
following command to delete the installation-information settings file:
# rm -r /any-directory/installation-information-settings-file
If the
driver_config key is set to n (so that the dlmsetconf utility is not
executed) in the installation-information settings file, go to step 15.
If the
driver_config key is set to y (to execute the dlmsetconf utility) in the
installation-information settings file, go to step 17.
13. Continue by following the instructions displayed on the screen:
If the license key file named
/var/tmp/hdlm_license is not saved, a message,
showing whether a user-specified license key file has been saved, is output. Enter
1 if a user-specified license key file has been saved. Enter 2 if a license key is
specified directly.
• Note that if any value other than
1 or 2 is entered three times, the installation
is stopped.
If
1 is entered, specify a user-specified license key file with the absolute path.
• Note that if the wrong absolute path is entered three times, the installation is
stopped.
If
2 is entered, a message that prompts you to enter a license key is displayed.
Enter the license key.
• When a correct license key is entered, the installation program displays a
message that indicates the license was installed.
• Take care that if you enter an incorrect license key three times, installation
stops.
If you interrupt an installation, check whether the
/var/opt/
