Supported configurations

HP StoreOpen Automation supports:

• LTO-5 Ultrium 3000 and 3280 tape drives

• LTO-6 Ultrium 6650 and 6250 tape drives

Only the binaries supplied by HP are supported, not those built from the source. See the HP Linear

Tape File System (LTFS) Tape Drive and HP StoreOpen Automation Support Matrix on http://

www.hp.com/go/storeopen for the latest details on supported operating system configurations

and supported HBA and hardware configurations.

NOTE: An LTO-5 or LTO-6 tape drive firmware update may be required to use HP StoreOpen

Automation. HP StoreOpen Automation will check and tell you if your tape drives need updating.
