Installing Fiber Interface Cables

1. Connect one end of the fiber cable to port A on the tape drive. See Figure 3-4.

Refer to Appendix A, Multimode Fiber Optic Cables for cable part numbers.

2. Connect the other end of the cable to the GBIC on the Fibre Channel converter.
