Hardware options installation 34

Remove the mezzanine connector cover. Retain the cover for future use.

5. Install the mezzanine card. Press down above the connector to seat the board.

6. Install the access panel (on page 15).

7. Install the server blade ("Installing a server blade" on page 18).

8. Power up the server blade (on page 13).

HP Smart Array E200i Controller battery pack option

The optional BBWC enabler provides the system with a means for storing and saving data in the event of

an unexpected system shutdown.

CAUTION: To prevent a server blade malfunction or damage to the equipment, do not add or remove the

battery pack while an array capacity expansion, RAID level migration, or stripe size migration is in

progress.
