2. The new share has now been created and after a few seconds is online. At this point there is no user data

stored in that share.

3. The next step is to begin configuring replication to migrate the data. Select Add Target Appliance from

the Replication–Partner Appliances–Target Appliances page on the Web Management Interface.

4. Enter the IP address or FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name) of the D2D in Target Appliance Address.

Note that this is the address of the local system. Addresses of other appliances may not be used because,

without a license, the D2D Backup System may only replicate to itself.
