9. After completing the wizard, replication will begin synchronizing the data between the two shares.

Synchronization will take some time to complete because all data must be replicated to the new device. Once

complete, the status will change to Synchronized which means that the same data is present in both shares.

(Note that the size on disk may be slightly different due to reporting inaccuracy and a slight difference in

deduplication ratio achieved).

10. After synchronization is complete remove the replication mapping between the two shares so that they are

separate entities.
