Operating the UltraSCSI Enclosure

See Table 2–1 for the Compaq-supported PVA SCSI ID switch
settings.
Starting the Subsystem
After assembling an enclosure and connecting enclosure cabling,
power is applied to start the subsystem.
Note
Before applying power to the subsystem, configure the
entire subsystem (including the host and the array
controller) as described in the appropriate publications.
Applying power to all the enclosures causes the EMU, PVA, and
array controller to automatically begin system operations.
