Working with a Volume Set
A volume set is a single-level container that is a concatenation of one
or more partitions on one or more disks. See the Flexible Array
Storage Tool User’s Guide for a complete description of volume sets

To work with a volume set, you must understand:
■ The volume set attributes you can specify
■ How to create a volume set
■ Volume set creation in a NetWare environment
■ Volume set creation in a UNIX environment
■ Some tasks to perform after creating the volume set

Understanding the Volume Set Attributes You Can Specify
You use the container create volume command to create a
volume set. Before creating a volume set, consider the following
volume set attributes you can specify:
■ freespace
■ raw container cache
