Create clickable image maps

Use HP MPA to create the clickable maps:

1. Start the HP MPA tool.

2. Under Managed Printer Lists, click Manage MPL View, and then select an MPL that was previously created and

click Next.

3. Click Clickable image map.

4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Advanced View Settings. The following screen is displayed:

5. Write down the value for the Final URL field. You will need the information when you create your Web pages.

6. You can also copy and save the URL into a temporary file for later use.

NOTE: If you save the URL to a temporary file, you might need to edit it if the format contains extra information. For

example, if the URL is http://localhost/hpmpl/?preview=true&mplid=1, you need to remove preview=true. You must

also change the localhost to the hostname or IP address of the Web server hosting your Web pages, as in the

following example: http://managedprint/hpmp1/?mplid=1
