6. Press the paper feed button to advance the paper, if necessary.

7. Run a diagnostics test to assure the printer is communicating with the POS computer.

Clearing a paper jam in the slip path

To clear a paper jam in the slip path:

1. Open the front cover by grasping the cover on each side near the top and swinging the cover up and

towards you.

2. Grasp the jammed paper and draw it out.

3. Close the receipt cover.

4. Close the front cover.
