
1. From the H om e screen, press Previous or Next until the screen displays Configuration.
Press Enter to select.
2. Press Previous or Next until the screen displays Autoloader Behavior.Press Enter to select.
3. The display shows Autoloader Mode on the first line with the current status on the second line
(normally Automatic, which is the default status). Press Enter if you wish to change this.
4. The screen displays Set Autoloader Mode .Press Previous or Next until the second line
displays the required mode: Automatic, Sequential,or Random.Press Enter to select the
autoloader mod e.
If you have selected Sequential mode, you may also wish to set Autoload and Loop options.
NOTE:
HP strongly recommends that you use backup software that is robotics-aware, then you will
not
need to use Sequential mode.
5. Press Previous or Next until the screen displays either Autoload Mode Disabled or
Autoload Mode
Enabled. To change the autoload mode, press Enter.
6. The screen will display either Disable Autoload Mode? or Enable Autoload Mode? Press
Previous or Next
to toggle bet ween enabled and disabled screens. Press Enter to select the
required mode.
7. Press Previous or Next until the screen displays either Loop Mode Disabled or Loop Mode
Enabled. To change loop mode, press Enter. The screen will display either Enable Loop
Mode? or Disable Loop Mode?
Press Enter to select the loop mode.
Setting the autoloader date a nd time
This option sets the d ate and time used by the autoloader to record events.
To set the date a n d time, do the following:
1. From the H om e screen, press Previous or Next until the screen displays Configuration.
Press Enter to select.
2. Press Previous or Next until the screen displays Set Autoloader Date/Time .Press Enter
to
select.
3. Press Previous or Next until the screen displays (example) Set Yr/Month/Day 2005 / 07
/21. The second line on the display will display the current date with the first number flashing.
4. Press Previous or Next until the flashing number reads correctly. Press Enter. This will move the
cursor to the next character.
5. Repeat Step 4 until all numbers in the date are correct. Press Enter.
6. The screen displays (examp le) Set Hours / Mins 16: 52 with the first number flashing.
NOTE:
The autoloader uses a 24-hour clock. For example 1 :00 p.m. is displayed as 13:00.
7. Press Previous or Next until the flashing number reads c orrectly. Press Enter to m ove to the next
number. Repeat this step until all numbers in the time are correct. Press Enter.
