ip multicast-routing

Use the ip multicast routing command to enable the multicast router process. The command does not

affect other multicast-related configuration. Use the no form of this command to disable. Disabling this

command prevents multicast forwarding but does not remove other multicast commands and processes.

Syntax Description

No subcommands.

Default Values

By default, this command is disabled.

Command Modes

(config)# Global Configuration Mode required

Usage Examples

The following example enables multicast functionality:
