Copies the highlighted denition to the entry line for editing. Tap when done.
To add a new denition—even one that is replacing an existing one—highlight the eld and just start
entering your new denition.

Enters the independent variable in the Function app. You can also press .
[Advanced Graphing only]
Enters an X in the Advanced Graphing app. You can also press .
[Advanced Graphing only]
Enters an Y in the Advanced Graphing app.
[Parametric only]
Enters the independent variable in the Parametric app. You can also press .
[Polar only]
Enters the independent variable in the Polar app. You can also press .
