You can also select a function from a menu. For example, see the following procedure:

Press .
2.
Press and tap .
3. Select Polynomial > Find Roots.
Your entry line now looks like this: =CAS.proot().
4. Enter the coeicients of the polynomial, in descending order, separating each with a comma:

Press to see the result. Select the cell and tap to see a vector containing both
roots: [1.732… –1.732…].

Tap to return to the spreadsheet.
Note that the CAS prex added to your function is to remind you that the calculation will be carried out by the
CAS (and thus a symbolic result will be returned, if possible). You can also force a calculation to be handled by
the CAS by tapping in the spreadsheet.
There are additional spreadsheet functions that you can use (mostly related to nance and statistics
calculations).
