Common operations in Symbolic Setup view
The Symbolic Setup view is the same for all apps. Its primary purpose is to allow you to override three of the
system-wide settings specied on the Home Settings window.
Press to open Symbolic Setup view.
Overriding system-wide settings
1. Tap the setting you want to change.
You can tap the eld name or the eld.
2. Tap the setting again.
A menu of options appears.
3. Select the new setting.
NOTE: Selecting the Fixed, Scientic, or Engineering options on the Number Format menu displays a
second eld for you to enter the required number of signicant digits.
You can also select a eld, tap , and select the new setting.
Restoring default settings
To restore default settings is to return precedence to the settings on the Home Settings screen.
To restore one eld to its default setting:
1. Select the eld.
