3. For any plot, but especially for a histogram, adjust the plotting scale and range in the Plot Setup view. If
you nd histogram bars too fat or too thin, you can adjust them by changing the H Width setting. (See
Setting up the plot on page 243.)

Autoscale can be relied upon to give a good starting scale which can then be adjusted, either directly in
the Plot view or in the Plot Setup view.
Plot types
Histogram
The rst set of numbers below the plot indicate where the cursor is. In the following example, the cursor is in
the bin for data between 5 and 6 (but not including 6), and the frequency for that bin is 6. The data set is
dened by H3 in Symbolic view. You can see information about other bins by pressing or .
